(Mexico City, 1990–1996) was a group of artists who emerged from Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado "La Esmeralda." Their practice existed in the intersections of installation, performance, and new media with a particular emphasis on action and process, developed in reaction to the limits of two-dimensional form and individual work. The group utilized irony, absurdity, black humor, and spatial intervention with certain touches of decadent romanticism to respond to the need for artistic exploration and the urgency of the era. They performed and exhibited at venues including Galería Art Deposit, Mexico City (1996); Museo Universitario del Chopo, Mexico City (1995); Ex Teresa Arte Actual, Mexico City (1993); and Centro Cultural Santo Domingo, Mexico City (1991).
